Sampo hotel

The site is located across the Sampo beach along the shoreline of the East Sea in South Korea. Sampo beach is known for emerald green color and low depth of water, perfect for the accessibility for all ages.

Concept Image: Play Between Sand Beach and Ocean Waves

Our inspiration came from the most popular play in the beach. Play with water between sand beach and ocean wave. It is a very basic form of play that gives so much fun from never ending interaction between the two very distinctive textural materials, sands and water. As shown in the image on the left, the color variations withing sands and ocean wave is very interesting and became about how we want to represent this play in our design in more metaphorical way
